Hi everyone, thanks for visiting today.

This post is going to be about the basics of article marketing. If you’re wondering what article marketing is, let me try to explain it to you. If you already know what it is, you may consider skipping part one and moving on to part two.

I hope you like the post. Let’s get started.

PART ONE

Article marketing, also known as bum marketing, has to be one of the best free ways to promote your website, blog, or affiliate product.

All you have to do is write an original article that’s about 400-600 words, edit it to make sure it’s nice, and then publish it for free to an article directory. It’s as simple as that, right? Well, it can be.

But if you REALLY want to succeed, you have to follow a few simple steps to make the best article that you would think of. Article marketing can be fun, because you get to write, (well, some people may not like to… they can still do it though, more on that later on,) and you get to make some money doing it.

All for free, and working as little or as much as you like. Now that you understand the concept of article marketing, let’s get down to some tips and tricks that you can use to make your articles better.

PART TWO

In this first section of part two, I am going to mainly focus on keywords. What the hell is a keyword, and why do I need one? Well, obviously, if your article has any words at all in it, it is a keyword, right? Lol. Well, right. But, you need a high density of a keyword.

What do you mean, you ask? That means that, say you’re promoting an e-book on ad words tips. In the article, you are probably not going to want to write about horse training (the most random thing that I could think of,) you’re going to want to focus on adwords.

So, in your article, you are going to make sure that the word “adword” or “adwords” is going to come up a lot. I don’t mean write an article like. “adwords is great. Adwords is better. Making money with adwords is what I like to do. adwords is great. Adwords is better. Making money with adwords is what I like to do.” You would have to be a moron to do that, because I bet you that no reader would read past the first sentence. You just need to as discretely as possible, place in the keywords.

A good rule is keyword density of about 1%-5%, (1-5 words for every 100,) but if you really want to be good, you may consider doing 3%-7%, or even higher.

PART THREE

This part is going to focus on the length that your article should be. It’s a very short part. You article should be as long or as short as you want it to be. If it’s long, make sure it’s interesting. My personal recommendation is anywhere between 300-700 words. Any shorter is too short, and any longer is just boring for the reader to read. Some children’s chapter books are only 7,000 words long.

PART FOUR

In part four I am going to tell you about the best article directory, e-zine articles. E-zine articles (www.ezinearticles.com) is one of the most popular article directories on the web because it has a GREAT relationship with google. Chances are, if you type in “[any product] review” on a google search, an e-zine article will be on the first page.
That is how good they are. So, once you submit your article to e-zine, you automatically have the good rankings that they do.

PART FIVE

In part five, I am going to talk about some more quick tips, and the conclusion of this article.

First off, you want to make sure that you write regularly. That means about 1-5 (maybe even 10) articles per day. If you do not like to write, a freelance article writer can write them for you for anywhere from $3-$30 per article. The higher the price, the better the article.

That’s all that I can fit into this article today, but trust me, there’e a lot more to know about article writing.

Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed the article.

Don’t forget to RSS and Have a great day!
