Hey everyone and thanks for visiting today. This article is going to be about the top ten ways to generate money from a list (aka email marketing.)

I only recently jumped into the list-building business, and I have found out (after only a couple of months,) that email marketing has exploded my online sales!! And, get this; my list is less than 200 people long! Did you know that the average webmaster is still unaware of the power of their customer base?

Here are my top ten ways to generate income from your established list.

1.) Depending on the size of your list (they should be in the thousands, not hundreds, and DEFINETLY not in the tens. I recommend a list size of 5,000+ to do this), you can hold private online auctions. This gets your subscribers in bidding wars, and that MAKES YOU MONEY!!

2.) Create an e-Zine that features your products in the advertising section. Sell ad space in your e-Zine to other businesses.

3.) Promote exclusive online courses using videos and or webinars.

4.) Swap ads or offers with others who also have lists in your market niche. Be sure to offer something free to those JV's. Joint ventures are a great way to build your list even bigger.

5.) Create a membership site or subscription program for your subscribers to gain them access to what you know. (You could make it free, but be sure to post some ads on the membership site then, to generate some revenue. Again, make sure you have a large list for this. 500+ I recommend.)

6.) Become an affiliate and promote your products to your targeted niche. I don’t recommend promoting them in emails; most people don’t even buy from emails that sell, because they most likely receive them all the time

7.) Offer your subscribers a discount to a product, and tell them it is "A Subscribers-Only Discount!”

8.) Build an affiliate army from your list. If you have products that you've created, you can recruit your affiliate members from your list.

9.) Join a network marketing company that is associated with your niche. Recruit downline members from your list as well as generate sales for your products.

10.) Have a fire sale. Collect all your products that you wish to liquidate and send your list a promotional email and get busy selling.

So you see that you can make your money from several ways with your mailing list! There are more ways of course; I'm just giving you a chance to think creatively. Use your imagination to come up with more ideas, or, if you don’t have an imagination, email me and I’ll think one up. haha.

If you have a list that is under a thousand, get to work building your list. There is a lot of value in list building if you do it right.

My list, as I already said, is at about 200 now, and I only started three weeks ago. I am going to really cash in on my list soon, and work VERY hard to get new subscribers.
